Production Manager Reports to:
Director of Operations Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Production Manager is to provide hands-on operational leadership to all production personnel - primarily roasting lines, raw packaging, and warehousing while focusing on safety, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities will include efficient line function and operations involving the efficient flow of goods throughout the facility and promoting the highest level of service to our internal and external customers, with a continuous effort towards improving excellence.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead associates in achieving aggressive goals and objectives as outlined by senior management.
Oversee, manage, delegate, and operate the production facility at premium efficiency.
Audit various production functions.
Perform basic sensory evaluation of products.
Operate, control, and manage equipment, labor, and supplies necessary to fill orders.
Ensure that all process controls meet or exceed HP GMPs, FDA, and customer requirements for safe responsible operation.
Coordinate, support & perform all maintenance, and sanitation of production & equipment.
Manage and complete necessary documentation regarding product cooking parameters, tracking, safety, overages, shortages, and damages of merchandise, and any other raw or finished goods tracking information required.
Support the hiring, training, and development of production associates.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Be able to identify opportunities in safety, productivity, quality, and accountability, and support the constant improvement of these areas.
Skills Required for this Position:
Ability to implement and understand procedures and policies.
Analytical skills for constant improvement planning.
Work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-Oriented.
Multitasking is a must.
Take on special projects as assigned by Sr Management.
Work with little supervision.

SAFETY Ensure overall safety of HP employees and assets.
Be safety compliant with all HP operations and governing regulations.
Minimize inventory loss by handling and processing materials or products properly.
Recognize, minimize, and report unsafe conditions and acts.
OTHER DUTIES / ABILITIES Lead, promote, and participate in a team-based setting with associates, and staff.
Ability to work more than 40 hours per week, based on business needs.
Ability to work as scheduled, including weekends and evenings.
Any other tasks as assigned.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years working in a food production supervisory role.
High School Diploma or equivalent, College preferred.
Computer literate.
HACCP experience required.
